If all goes according to plan, you should see your camera automagically move itself back to the position that you defined. A quick way to test is to move your camera's position with the PT arrows and then click the "Go" link to have it use preset 1. After clicking set, at least on my cameras, there is no visual indicator that clicking "set" did anything.
Make sure preset 1 is selected in the drop-down list. Once your camera is positioned to your liking, you should see a "preset" area close to the PT arrows. After reboot finishes, log back into your camera and use your Pan/Tilt arrows to point the camera where you want it to go to should it reboot. Log into the cameras that are resetting and pointing in the wrong direction after reboot.
To alleviate it, I activated a tremendously useful feature which, if your Wanscams are clones or even similar in firmware to the Foscams then you should have this feature too. I have this problem on a couple of Foscam FI8910W's I have at my office. They have a watchdog service that will reset the device if the network signal is too low or is lost. Since Wanscam IP cameras are very similar to the Foscam IP cameras, you're probably seeing the same issue that is rampant with Foscam's cameras.
